Robot cats: four very different ideas
“Robot cat” can mean a talking desk companion, a soft tactile pet or a fully walking bionic robot. Comparing them by feature count alone is misleading.

Mia is the clear fit here, but its open conversation uses cloud processing and requires the $2/month Premium feature plan.
For tactile comfort without cloud dependence
metaCat and Joy for All are much simpler. Joy for All minimizes technical setup; metaCat adds more expressive eye/head/tail behavior and voice commands.
For autonomous movement
MarsCat is in another price class and is currently unavailable on the direct official listing. It is interesting for robotics buyers but not an actionable recommendation while stock is absent.
